Annual Fire Alarm, Sprinkler & Backflow Inspections – Friday, October 23, 2026: 8AM-4PM

Dear Chatham Place Residents (DR Horton Townhomes Only):

DynaFire will be conducting the required by law Annual Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, and Backflow Inspections on Friday, October 23, 2026, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The Fire Sprinklers Inspection requires interior access to your home. A homeowner, tenant or representative must be present to escort the inspectors into all rooms containing fire sprinklers. Please note that the fire alarm system will sound periodically during testing. Anyone sensitive to loud sounds or with medical conditions that may be affected should plan to be away from the home while testing is in progress.

This annual inspection is included in your monthly $38.00 “Fire Assessment.”

If access is not provided to any home or interior areas, those will be recorded as “No Access” deficiencies. Should the community inspection fail due to these “No Access” deficiencies, a re-inspection will be required and will result in an additional fee of up to $500 per home. To avoid additional costs, please ensure that DynaFire inspectors are granted entry and that all fire sprinkler areas are accessible.

Note: Always keep the Fire Sprinklers uncovered – no tape, plastics, covers over. Do not paint over them. Do not use as hangers or hooks.

Volunteers are needed to be “On-call” for Fire Inspectors’ in-person assistance. If available on October 23, 2026, starting at 8AM until 4PM, and would like to volunteer, please email us at chathamplaceboard@gmail.com.
